no sound?

I cannot get sound while playing video cassette. TV is ok on satellite and normal but when switching to video no sound.

The audio control unit may be dirty or damaged. If it is damaged, you will find it very hard to find a replacement head. And since to idea of the DVD Recorder, Video Recorders will have gone cheap anyway.
