my pilot light on my baxi barmuda 410?

i need to re light my pilot light. for some reason it has gone out. i follow the instructions push the grey button in and at the same time push igniter button. i can see the spark but no flame appears and i cant smell gas. its as if its blocked. the fire on the front works fine.

If you look at the 'Grey' button, it rotates! You have an 'off' position, a 'light' position, and a 'run' position. pick the position with the lightning flash 'light'. rotate the thermostat to OFF position '0' Hold grey button in, fully, press the ignitor button, a number of times, the pilot should light, hold the gre button in for at least 30 seconds, then VERY slowly release button turning to the 'run position'. then if pilot stays lit, turn circular thermostat knob to about 2 or 3 and boiler should light. if this does not work you should really then call a gas engineer.
