It turned out to be easy in the end. There are 3 no. cross head screws to undo. Once these are undone and fully removed you can lower the plastic cover over the light. Then, simply unscrew the old bulb and replace it. They seem to be standard thread filament bulbs, but remember to buy one for a fridge NOT one for an oven! You may need to replace the heat shield above it (a piece of foil covered paper). I used a piece of silver tin foil that I cut to size and laid over the top of the bulb to stop too much heat going up into the polystyrene above it. In fact it made me think about the recent Londontower block fire and how that started and ask the question: Why are these bulbs not LED to cut the fire risk down?
