how do I program missing channels?

Samsung television, Model TXE2746 (Aug 1996)
Channels 1 - 47 are not programmed. How do I program these missing channels?
Marta Davis, May 2006
When you search through the channels, does it like 1, 47, 48, 49? Yeah? You may have to program the TV channels through Ch Search (Channel Search), or something like that. To do this go to the TV's menu, select Ch Search (or something like that) and have the time to sit through and program while your aerial picks up the best signal possible. When you come to a good picture, save the picture to view at you're convience. (BBC1 = Channel 1, BBC2 = Channel 2 etc.) That might work. (You may not get Channel six onwards unless you do the same procedure but really need it... Do you?)
