how to reset my nintendo DSI?

My Nintendo software appears to be corropted and can't work. Its shows a message on a black scree saying: "An error Has occurred. Press an hold the power button to turn the system off. please refer to the nintendo DSI Operatons Manual for details."

I took apart my dsi disconnected everything from the board and waited about 10 minutes. After i put it back together np with the error anymore
