How to change or clean the PCB on potterton suprima 50?

Hello,
My boiler is on the blink for a while now and after searching the net got the feedback of the PCB's being the most common fault. How do I get at it and how does it come out? The model I have has the door on the front side to access the controls. That pulls off but I presume I have to take off the whole cover to gain access to board! Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

If a registered Gas-Safe engineer can do it - anybody can...

Unless covered in conductive material - like carbon dust or moisture for instance - cleaning will achieve nothing.

You do not qualify or explain "on the blink". Go here nevertheless...

Intermittent connection faults on electronic circuits can sometimes be traced by tapping gently with a wooden spoon.

Boiler PCBs are subject to failing Electrolytic Capacitors - they tend to fail over time and particularly in a warm environment - and boilers are warm environments.

Good luck...
