When decorating I use Dulux Satinwood for interior woodwork - because I like it. I also paint any exposed copper pipes with it - a bare pipe may need three coats.
I believe that copper pipes really don't care much about what paint you put on them - whatever you're using for doors and skirting boards will stick to the copper.
