My Zanussi WJD 1257w washer/dryer is reading error Code E40 I have emptied the filter but it is still showing the E40 code. It seems to be struggling to lock the door???? is it connected

update:- I have removed and reinstalled the lock but sadly there is no improvement can anyone suggest anything else?

no I just refitted it again. have i misunderstood!!!! I reinstalled the old one...........I am blonde.
