can't get the camera to eject the film catridge. goes through all the motions to eject but the closes again without ejecting.

Before it ejects, the tape must be rewind correctly inside the cover. If the tape is not pulled completely inside its shell, it will not eject. This is a safety feature to prevent damaging the tape. Either a rubber piece inside or one of the gears responsible for rewinding the tape is not working correctly. This is a very common problem on these units.www.nabilselectronics.com
