How can I fix my Power button on HP Compaq nc2400?

The power button wire broke on my HP Compaq nc2400. I would like to fix it or solder it but need a wiring diagram or something like that. Can you please tell me where I can find one? Or do you know if I can get a free service manual that would show the wiring? Please let me know.
