My Sunvic 207XL Controled system?

When I press the + One hour, for hot water the boiler won't start up, but if I turn up the thermostate and press the + One hour for heating as well, then the boiler fires up.
Any idea's why it wont run on hot water only please?

Mine started doing this then the water heater stopped working completely last week.I still can't get it to work although the heating works ok?
