we recently moved into a house with an integrated Diplomat 8512 washing machine fitted and tonight the water didnt drain from the load. i removed the plinths from the base units and found a round filter type component which unscrewed, when i done this lots of water came out so i let it empty and cleaned the rubbish from it and put it back in. do these types of machines need emptied regularly like tumble dryers do? or is this a more serious problem, possibly with a valve or something?
