How can I fix the battery door on my Kodak CX4230 digital Camera?

The battery on my Kodak CX4230 Camera is broken and will not make contact. It bulges up in the middle.

I have the same camera and same problem, door will not latch, this feature is trash---but what do you expect when it says--- made in china.
Is there any trick to replace it and where can battery door be purchased[ at a fair price]

see if you can purchase one from a photo shop like jessops or look for a faulty one on ebay
