Total beginner to fixing w/machines but generally handy lady. Have bought new brushes as searches online seem to indicate this will fix my no spinning problem, however failed at first hurdle as screws on the machine are a funny star shape and I only have flat, philips and hex keys. Can you get a screwdriver or something to remove these as a member of the public and if so where please

You can buy a chep set from screw fix or b&q, thay sell in screw fix for about £2.79 tem no 19557-91 make sure you have a screw drver to fit the kit like 93358-91 good luck, brushes are easy to change be carefull not to drop screws from brushes in to motor all the Best.
