How do I take a upvc door off its hinges, to allow access for new furniture

When the screws on mine were loosened at the hinges the whole door would slide down.
If its anything like mine it will weigh a hell of a lot, so I stacked books under it for when it dropped.
It will take 2-3 people to lift my door (yours probably the same that glass is heavy) so don't loosen those screws without human backup!

it depends on what type of profile it is
but there the hinges are should be a removable (slideable) panel, remove it to show the screws, but be careful as removal may invalidate your warranty and possibily kill the door sash and glass
