dark patch/shadow on my LG plasma screen?

i have noticed a dark patch on the screen of my plasma LG t.v,tried cleaning it but no joy its still there, any idea what could be causing it?

i had this problem it is caused by a power surge claim your contents insurance as it is cost effective to replace rather than repair.
