frozen P1000 samsung digital camera?

when i switch it on the on/off light stays on, the green light flashes once then it sticks there... the lens is permanently stuck out ... i replaced the battery with no luck

i fixed it.... i gently but firmly pressed the lens in with the camera swithed on, it came to life and works perfectly

I have the same problem with my Nikon Coolpix S220. I've tried using 'Dust Away' but it didnt do anything!
