I can't get the lock light to stop blinking on my dishwasher. We rent and the washer came with the place and it's probably older. I have read some other posts. Inside the machine it says to hold the "no heat/dry" button down for 4 seconds. That didn't work. Neither did 10 seconds....or 20. When I press the the "cancel" button then the lock and cancel buttons blink together until I open the door and re-close it...then just the lock button again. I have tried the breakers for the house....still nothing.

any suggestions? This has never happened and I don't recall ever locking it in the first place.

Don't feel bad the same thing is happening to me. I took my door apart, reseated all components, including the ribbon cable. Stood on my head and sang a song and nothing has changed. I don't know if it is the ribbon cable, control board, or the control panel. I don't see where the buttons can be stuck on is their is no buttons. I will keep praying for a miracle....
