Yes its possible-Turn on CH boiler- go to 3 way valve -the pipe into your cylinder should be getting hot as well as the flow pipe into the 3 way. This should happen on hot water. Get someone to turn the clock onto heating the rads whilst you stay at the 3 way . IF the valve is working OK then the flow out of the 3 way to the rads should be getting hot. Put your hand on pipe to confirm. If the valve is broken it wont allow het to this pipe. The 3 way valve should have a manual leaver on the side. Move the leaver in its slot and lock it in position. There is a cut out in the slot to do this . If the pipe to the radiators now gets hot then the valve looks to be the culprit. You should have the valve changed. This is a relatively easy job as long as the 3 way valve has gate valves fitted on the 3 legs to it as you can switch off and replace easilly. Be sure the valves are fully closed and elec is off. Sometimes gate valves dont shut 100% so kep your fingers crossed and a bucket and towels handy just in case-good luck GB
