how can we fix the back door lock. it is locked shut and will not open. we can mend the lock as have done this before on another door but this broke whilst open and we changed the lock. we just don't know how to take the door off to mend it.

de glaze the door that means take out glass or panel to take weight off sash then take off all hinges supporting the sash to the frame you should then b able to lift door sash out after a bit off fiddling
