How can I fix my Microwave turntable?

The turntable on my Kenwood SJ/SS28 won't turn any more,why? and is it dangerous to go on using it as it is?

Your motor's gone. Pop out panel underneathe gives easy access (you'll need a self-tap screw to put back) and replace the motor. 5 miniut job
