HI. WONDER IF ANYONE CAN HELP. I HAVE A SAMSUNG VP-L600. CASSETTE TYPE CAMCORDER. I HAVE ALL THE LEADS. BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO GO ABOUT CONNECTING IT TO MY PC. SO THAT I CAN EVENTUALLY TURN WHATS ON MY TAPES INTO DVDS. I HAVE NERO 7 ULTIMATE. AND I KNOW HOW TO DO IT FROM THERE. MY PROBLEM IS CONNECTING MY AV LEADS TO MY PC. CAN ANYONE HELP. THANKS. i have a panasonic hdc sd 700 and have used the camcorder i have also entered the software on to the pc now please explain how you transfer what i have filmed movie and stills from my camcorder to the pc

I bought a video to USB adaptor ($99 Australian - probably about 40 pounds UK). The video cable plugs into this adaptor but the audio cable plugs into the line-in at the back of your computer.
I had a fair bit of trouble with software until I used Windows Movie Maker and then it was easy. I have trouble with sound and I have to make sure the line-in (on the volume control) is not muted before I start recording. This is more than a year after you asked and you probably have an answer by now. If not, I hope it is a help

you need a tv tuner card to turn the analogic signal into digital.
