How can I fix my leaking Whirlpool washer?

My Whirlpool washer, model no. LXR7144EQ0, leaks from somewhere around the motor when I wash a load. What part do I need?

I thank you guys a million for this post with the Model numbers and everything.
After completing a search on google for this subject you guys helped me diagnose exactly where my leak was and I managed even with my bad back to easily remove the cover and find where the bearings or pump innards had worn a groove all the way through the Gray plastic pump in the lower front of the unit.
Thanks again everyone.
Randy.

Hello,

You are going to have to open the washer cabinet to find out where the leak is coming from. It could be the pump which is in front of the motor and, easy to change.

Here are instructions for opening the cabinet:

Start by removing the plastic endcaps (if you have them) at the ends of the console. This will reveal the screws to remove. Once the console screws are removed flip the console back and let it rest. Use a straight screwdriver to remove the two metal clips and then unplug the lid switch harness that was under the console. Now stand in front of the washer and rock the cabinet forward. The whole cabinet removes for access. Hope this helps.
