How can I remove moisture from the bathroom?

I've recently had a new bathroom fitted including a replacement extractor fan. My plumber assured me this was a better model than I had previously had (which was a shower light/fan combined and now it's just a fan). However I'm still having problems with the walls etc being wet after showering and this can remain for hours. I do open the windows whilst the shower is on and for a while afterwards however with winter approaching I can't face the thought of freezing another year. Would a dehumidifier help?

Help would be most appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time

Karen,

Dehumidifier will not help, as it will just draw water from your toilet pan. You may have to tile the walls if you haven't already done so, if you have mould on the walls or ceiling, use a white gloss paint on them first then when dry paint over with emulsion. The gloss will help prevent the mould showing through.

Good Luck
