i attached the freeview box to my tv and i was getting some channels but not all any way i tried it upo stairs and now i cant get channels 1-8 and the only ones im getting is radio and other channel i dont want what seems to be the problem and can someone help me sort it please

Check what kind of signal you can expect.

Make sure you have a good enough aerial AND a good quality aerial cable.

Re-scan the channels WHEN you are sure you have a decent aerial and aerial cable and you are getting a strong signal that is of good quality..

The signal from your aerial is not strong/good enough.

Try realigning it and/or an amplifier.
