Before I went on holiday my Thomson freeview box was playing up; wasn't recording, not showing listings, making funny noises. I have just came home from holiday yesterday and the box won't turn on.

I plug the cable into the box and no light comes up .... nothing.

I check everything the plug socket power is on, the power cable to the box is in the right way round and when I plug the power cable in it makes the crackle noise that basically is electricity connecting to the box.

Please Help!
