HDD Failure?

My Samsung Napster MP3 Player has an Device can't initialize HDD. Please contect to adapter and try again. On top of that it continues to freeze the computer when plugged in...what can I do?

I have one too. I get a error "cant initialise the hdd" i have been told it needs a new HDD @ £150. Have you got any joy with yours?
