Ihave a Verine Veriflame Ultra gas fire which has given good service over the last 15 - 20 years. But the pilot light has steadily diminished until it no longer functions. My local gas fitter says it is the thermo coupler? (I think that's what he said!) and that he cannot source a part. He says I may have to buy a new fire. Is it as bad as that?
