Don't know that particular model but it's probably worth repairing.
First check all cables between the TV and external appliances are secure.
Otherwise, failure of frame output IC is a fairly common cause of those symptoms. If frame IC they are relatively inexpensive. There are of course many other possible causes of loss of picture with good sound. Just frame failure is the most common.
