Section of pole stuck?

My top section of my top three is stuck and I can't colapse it back into the next How do I cure this.

well as peccavi said you need to heat the outer part of the pole to expand it to loosen the inner pole i usually run it under hot water and then tap the end of the pole gently on the floor until it drop inside .

I would do a bit of research online. There are plenty of fishing forums where I have seen these sort of things come up. Just type in the main points into google (avoid the common words) and DIG!

Don't know - if it were mine I would pour boiling water over the lower section a little below the bottom end of the upper section and let the heat travel up - hopefully the heat will expand the gripping lower section ever so slightly - then a downwards blow on the ground to free it.

I have never tried this but in my dreams it's a technique that works very well.

Good luck...
