When I plug the unit in it says hello, bye and the time shows in the window,this is normal. the problem is when I turn it on from this point it will work for 1 or 2 seconds then nothing for a few minutes the 1 or 2 seconds it works again. Then nothing

Just for future reference, I found how to fix this unit. 1st you have to push the buttons on the machine manually until you can get it to say put in disc, then put in the firmware disk you downloaded from the website,this will restore the unit to it's orignal state.
