internet signal !?

hello, i've got connection to the internet with Orange with a livebox connection, in my landing upstairs in my house.

Is there anyway i can improve the signal strength when using the internet, some rooms, its great, others ie. in my living room or kitchen there is no signal?

Unfortunately some routers give a stronger wireless signal than others.

It also greatly depends on what your house/walls are made of. Plasterboard won't attenuate the signal as much as brick. Insulation materials can play a big part too.

It could also be that your router is broadcasting on the same wireless frequency as a neighbour's. This will reduce speed.
