simple fix for this problem. take the cover off and you will see a plastic cover above the disk tray. it will have a tiny screw, remove the screw and then you can gently pop off the cover. under this you will see a clear plastic shield with a small eye under it...this clear shield is the eye..dont take this apart, just dab some alcohol or window cleaner on tissue or qtip and gently wipe the plastic shield a few times. thats it. do this every time you get the no disc error and you will never have to replace your player.
