when the wash cycle gets to spin mode the machine has drained and is jogging cw and acw but will not spin, where is the speed control for this appliance

the old type timer pcb unit is very prone to this fault a replacement is the only answer but it is expensive........I
can tell you where you can obtain one. Any location in the world supplied, but just in case this is not the problem you will have the option of retuning it (for a small handling fee) in good condition.

i had the same problem, try spinning with no washing in machine, if it works normal the out of balance sensing of the motor has activated,........
check by hand does the drum rotate freely?
