How do I make watertight connection between copper plumbing and plastic cis?

Macdee toilet cistern inlet valve is to be connected to existing copper house plumbing, but no washers or olives are supplied and joint leaks. How is this to be corrected?

macadee inlet valves are not joined with olives or do you wrap the olive with ptfe. only bodgers do that.

you need a fibre washer. that gos into the connector and screws to the bottom of the inlet valve.

You need to buy some olives and put one onto the copper pipe and also put some PTFE tape around the olive, this should give you a watertight seal.
