cooker hood lights not working?

i have a cooker hood fon bnq and the fans are working but the lights are not,is there maybe a fuse somewhere that will need to be replaced? Had a look but cant seem to see where it would be.

yes, that was the first thing i did! There is a cylindar shape piece at the front which i have tried to remove to see if there is possibly a fuse in there for the bulb function but cant get two of the screws off due to the position of them-but would bulbs not work due to a fuse being blown and would they even have a seperate fuse? Aaaaagh i just want my bulbs to work!
