I can get my player to power on and even get to the Screen that displays "Creative" but it wont go beyond that. Even if I leave it with that same screen it will stay that way until all the power is drained. I've tried plugging it into my computer via USB--but my computer wont recognize it (i'm guessing because it's not fully powered "on"). I've also tried to charge it with the wall charger--nothing changes.

Is there anything I can do?

Also the touch pad/buttons don't respond also.

I have the same issue. Creative is being no help whatsoever. "Here's you issue tacking #. Not that we're ever going to do anything with it."
