what is the solution to this ?
laptop fell of rear seat of car when involved in an accident & has now developed thin lines down screen of different colours.
i am tipping that there is some screen damage but some one has said it may be video card connection.
are screens repairable of not cost effective.

Usually a broken screen means that the PC is scrap - or...

You could use an external monitor. Or you could convert it to a desktop substitute by buying a dock or port replicator, keybaord and mouse.
