two types, easy one at front, at bottom remove pilth u will see a black or white cap witch turn and thats it, or other one at back of m/c undo bottom cover u will see a black hose going up to drum a big clip around it, undo pull out, it hard to put back u will need to line up, the filter goes in one way because there is a rubber at bottom witch it fit in put the ball back in, then the top piece[witch might be still stuck in hole] there are two slits witch this lines in then push back in and tighten
