During a washing run this morning i noticed a water leak and a strange noise. Luckily it was at the end of the wash. I emptied the washing out to find one of my bra wires sticking out of one of the holes in the drum. I pulled it out successfully and decided to do another wash only to find that all is running fine apart from it is still leaking water from underneath. It is a hotpoint Aquarius washing machine wmf740.

Does anyone know what the likely damage is?

it may have cut the sump hose a bit,unlikely though,check the tub shell gasket,(door seal) also it may have disturbed the dispenser fill hose to tub,if you pull the nachine out,place a newspaper under it and let it fill,then remove paper,should get an idea where the water is coming from by the drips on the paper
