How can I fix my Fisher Paykel EcoSmart GWL10u2?

When I turn it on, and looked for the code the following lights are lit 2,3, 5. I hear the motor humming, unplugged it for 5 minutes plug it back in and it did the same.

It won't start. I called and they said I needed a Tech to come out. I would like to try and do this myself.

I called them out on the last month of warrany. When the tech arrived, he brought in with him his tools and a 18 inch long slender box. He plugged in the washer, no beeps nor lights. Opened the top rear access panel to check for voltage on normal terminals. Then went back to the truck. He was out there for about 5 to 10 minutes. Came back inside, opened the box, replaced the machines long electronic timer. Had me sign papers and left. Apon running to catch him, because he left behind his meter, i noticed, a laptop and beside it, some kind of "mobile" modem. I have had local college classes on appliance repair & domestic/auto refrigeration. I can usually repair most items myself. But with today's electronic timers, generalized repair knowledge is not enough. Timers are usually to blame and it's hard for the public to find schematics. I could have just tried to replace the timer but this electronic timer was over $200.
