I punched in the wrong code three times and now the VHS is locked. It costs 55 GBP to unlock it in the shop! (NUTS!) Is there any other way to do this by myself?

I really want to thank "Cobweb" for answering my question. After a whole lot of research in the internet, phonecalls and visits to different shops, he was the only one who was able to answer my question. If it is so simple, why does nobody know how to do it, or charge 55GBP for it? Thanks man...
