Why are all the lights flashing on my Hotpoint Aquarius Washing Machine?

My Hotpoint Aquarius Washing machine has all the lights flashing and I cannt turn it on. When I press the power button it will not turn off and i have to turn it off at the wall. When I turn it back on I have the same problem of flashing lights.
