Vaillant turboMAX plus 837E pilot light keeps going out code F.37?

My Vaillant turboMAX plus 837E boiler pilot light has gone out 4 or 5 times and the display code of F.37 is not shown in any of the brochures. Please can you tell me what this code means.

Just solved a very similar problem. After replacing the fan and the main PCB, found that it was the fan wiring 'loom' after all.

F37 is a problem with the fan- perhaps the electrical connection is erratic

can I raise this again? Same F.37 code. Changed the switch, cleaned the boiler, inspected the flue, bleed the radiators. Still the same. Shuts down after each firing after almost exactly one minute. Will empty the whole syetem and refill. Any other ideas?

F.37 (837/637 Models Only)

Quote: "The rotary speed of the fan is too high or too low"

Answer: The Air Pressure Switches on earlier models are a pain in the neck and often suffer with this issue, exchange the APS and you should be good to go again.

Vaillant part number: 05-0577
GC part number: E49-977

Best of luck.

BTW; the APS can be found behind the boiler on the top-right... It's a bit of a struggle to change, especially if the appliance is installed close to a ceiling.
