I have an emachine laptop model E627. I have added avg 2011 for anti virus. The next day i got a blue screen saying there was something wrong with windows and it screamed at me telling me to remove the latest software if this was the first time I had seen this screen. I cannot use my laptop at all now, I can't What can I do to get rid of this and be able to use my laptop again?

Try booting Windows into Safe Mode (press F8 when it starts loading) and uninstalling AVG from the control panel. Reboot the computer and see if the problem goes away. If it doesn't, have you made any other recent changes ? If so, uninstall these too. If not, the technical details on the blue screen error message may give a clue as to where the problem lies (consult an expert).
