Can I connect a record deck to a Denon M30?

Can I connect a record deck to a Denon M30 via the 2 jack plugs supplied with the deck? There is only the tuner and CD connected (no cassette) to the system. If this is cannot be done could you please suggest an alternative.

Many thanks

To get your record deck to work with your Denon you will need to purchase a Phono pre amp to boost the low signal produced by the phono cartridge. The pre amp plugs into you amp via the phono cables, you will then be able to use you record deck. Depending on the quality of your record deck and crtridge, the more you pay, the better the quality you will get, Fitting a hi quality pre amp to a crap record deck and cartridge will only make it sound worse, garbage in, garbage out.
