what pipe do I use to fit to the blowoff valve on a britony 80?

I need to fit a pipe to the blowoff valve on my britony 80 boiler. British Gas says it needs to be in copper but I cant fit a copper pipe straight to the boiler as it is not 15mm and it has ribs on the pipe as if it should take a rubber pipe, would a rubber pipe connected to copper be sufficient?
thanks

The original pipe from a Britony was clear plastic tube.
Don't believe rubber would be of suitable strength under the heat/pressure that a prv would blow at. You're better adapting the outlet to 15mm and use copper, and yes, it CAN be done, try removing the hose adaptor.
