Well tina you could look in the book, but on the vaillant there are 2 grey valves underneath on on each side with a short grey wire flexible hose between the 2 open 1 of the small grey valves fully then open the other one a little bit and you will hear water going in, you should also see the gauge start to rise, let it come up to 1.5 bar or the middle of the green section on the small dial on the front right, then close both valves
