Hi i have an ideal classic boiler and it has been making loud squealing noises. so have been unable to have heating on. Got up this morning and the flame wont actually kick in now and the pilot ignition button is pressed in and wont let me press it. Please help as i have 3 very cold children here. Thanks

which model? should be on drop down front drawer.

if a fan flued model it sounds like the fan has failed but you wouldn't have a pilot ignition button.
