Batteries deplete very quickly (like after 6-8 pictures when Pentax states should last at least 220 photos) regardless if fresh alkaline batteries or rechargeable ones from 1000mAh to 2500mAh makes no difference, contacts of both camera and batteries cleaned with rubbing alcohol to no avail even more frustrating is that it doesn't even recognize most rechargeable batteries.
